RECENT WORK

I am honored to have been asked to record the Piedmont Wind Symphony's winter/holiday concert in December 2023. This was an especially interesting experience, as it was my first time using on-site recording gear for a large instrumental ensemble, with a very limited time for set-up. The resulting recording of the whole concert was broadcast on WTOB.

UPCOMING EVENTS

  • TBD December 2024 - Single Brothers House, Winston-Salem, NC
Candle Tea: Joshua and others will be serving as organists to accompany the singing of Christmas Carols on the 1798 Tannenberg Organ.
  • TBD Spring 2025 - Centenary UMC, Winston-Salem, NC
Organ Recital: Join Joshua Sobel in an exploration of the organ as a solo instrument, a chamber instrument, and an orchestra unto itself. Featuring Brahms Symphony no. 3, as well as Litaize, Bach, Rheinberger, and more. Details to come.
